"One Six Right"
The story of General Aviation and the threats it faces today (full length feature)
The documentary motion picture, "One Six
Right", is now available online for free. If you have not
seen it, you might want to have a look. If you don't fly, it
may give you a better understanding of why some people do. If
you do fly, well, you know.
It's a full length effort, about ninety minutes
long, shot in high definition and boasts some of the best air
to air photography. It is also accompanied by a wonderful,
original score. Most importantly, it tells the story of
General Aviation and the threats that it faces today.
The film makes an outstanding case for airport preservation.
While the middle part may not interest everyone
(it concerns the history of Van Nuys Airport in Los Angeles, the
busiest general aviation airport on earth), the first 25 and
last ten minutes are well worth a look.
If your computer can handle it, be sure to
select the "Watch Hi-Res" And/or "Full screen" buttons.
